Registration for the 2026 race is open! As we continue celebrating our 60th anniversary, don’t miss our special Summer Promotion! Register now and enjoy exclusive, limited-time discounts on your registration fee!

Here are the discounts you will get if you register this summer:

• All discounts apply to adult ($55), youth ($30), and senior ($40) registration fees.
• July 7-31, 2025 - Use promo code AZTEC50 and receive 50% off the fee.
• August 1-31, 2025 - Use promo code AZTEC25 and receive 25% off the fee.

Registration Fees

5K Run/Walk - In-Person or Virtual

• Child 13 & Under: $10
• Youth 14 to 24: $30
• Adults 25 to 64: $55
• Seniors 65 and Over: $40

Register by 4/19/2026 to be guaranteed your T-shirt size.

In-Person Registration

Available Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, at Spanish Speaking Citizens’ Foundation, 1470 Fruitvale Ave., Oakland, CA 94601

Virtual Participants

Register by 4/19/2026 to be guaranteed your T-shirt size. After this date, T-shirts are first-come, first-served and mailed out two weeks after the event. To be illustrated in results, download the ITS Virtual Race App for step-by-step instructions to upload your time/results. You can post your time from April 19th through May 3rd. Final results will go live on race day.

Fee Discounts

Family/team or groups of 5 or more for In-Person participants will receive a discount of 10% off per registration (for Youth, Adults and Seniors) by following these steps:

For online group/team registrations:

• Leader of the group/team will obtain an emailed team ID name (promo code) from Kandee at On Your Mark Events and pass it on to other team members. Email: kandee@onyourmarkevents.com
• Other team members may then register using this ID and do not need to register at the same time.

For in-person group/team registrations:

• Leader of the group/team will obtain an emailed team ID name (promo code) from Kandee at On Your Mark Events and pass it on to other team members. Email: kandee@onyourmarkevents.com
• Once you get the ID, you can complete registration forms. Be sure to include your promo code and T-shirt size.
• Send completed application to: On Your Mark, PO Box 1199, Arnold, CA 95223. Make checks payable to: Spanish Speaking Citizens’ Foundation.
• You may also drop off the forms and payment at the SSCF office located at 1470 Fruitvale Ave., Oakland.

No group discounts after 4/26/2026.

Awards

Top overall male/female and Masters (50+) male/female. Top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over. Participant T-shirts for all!

Race Day Schedule

Check-in and race day registration opens 7:00 a.m. at the start/finish area, Lake Merritt, Oakland. Race packet will not be mailed in advance. Run starts at 9:00 am.

Course

Once around beautiful Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA, one of the oldest and most historic run courses in Northern California. Course is wheelchair friendly; participation is encouraged as in past years.
